Wednesday’s 7pm at THE HISTORIC Y
1 hour Bachata/Latin dance class that will begin with salsa movement, styling and partner work. However, this class does not require a partner. Please bring your comfortable dancing shoes! We will then slow down the class with the smooth Bachata dance from the Dominican Republic.

Our methodology teaches you about the historical background of the dance, but also the subtle nuances so you can defend yourself on the dance floor! Solo or partner private lessons… its up to you!
Get moving with rhythms from the islands. Caribbean Beat is a fun dance workout where we will explore movement and steps from Afro-Cuban Salsa, Reggaeton, Dancehall, Soca, and Afrobeat music. Each week will be a mix of styles and beats from the Caribbean — keeping you dancing and moving all class, so be ready for some cardio fun!
